What You'll Do
- Welcome clients and patients with professionalism and compassion
- Schedule appointments and manage a multi-line phone system
- Review medical records and communicate with clients regarding appointments and treatment plans
- Check patients in and out efficiently
- Present estimates and discuss hospital recommendations following doctor protocols
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Respond to emails and client inquiries promptly
- Coordinate with veterinarians and technicians to ensure efficient patient flow
- Maintain accurate medical records using Cornerstone (preferred)
- Deliver an exceptional customer service experience with every client interaction
Qualifications
- Previous veterinary receptionist or customer service experience in a veterinary hospital preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable using email, multi-line phone systems, and veterinary software
- Cornerstone experience is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
- Professional, dependable, and compassionate
