Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to support both general practice. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about advancing your technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Rooming patients and collecting thorough histories
- Educating clients on vaccines, preventatives, and follow-up care
- Confident, proficient phlebotomy and IVC placement
- Performing and assisting with diagnostic radiographs
- Supporting veterinarians and fellow team members in both general and urgent care settings
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 years of veterinary assistant experience
- Proficiency in phlebotomy and IVC placement required
- Demonstrated ability to triage and stabilize emergency cases
- Confident anesthesia monitoring experience
- Skilled in client education and communication
- Comfortable in both wellness and urgent care environments
- Team player with a positive, dependable work ethic
